There's one wall that's hard to get over when a foreign brand wants to ship parcels directly to Korean consumers. Korean parcel carriers only accept pickups from a domestic collection address. Without a ship-from address inside Korea, every order has to be sent from overseas, and customs clearance and delivery times stretch out. RUNIC, which operates 3PL in Gimpo, breaks down how foreign brands get onto Korea's parcel network.

Why a foreign brand needs a domestic ship-from address

Korean parcels are picked up from a domestic collection address, routed through sorting hubs, and delivered to the consumer. You need a contracted shipper account and a domestic pickup point to enter this flow. Shipping direct from overseas on every order is slow and expensive. With a ship-from address inside Korea, orders go out at domestic parcel speed.

Every channel's orders from a single inventory pool

From your Gimpo inventory, we piece-pick and dispatch orders across multiple channels — SmartStore, Naver N-Delivery (arrival guarantee), Coupang, your own storefront, and more. Because everything runs from one inventory pool rather than a separate warehouse per channel, you cut the stockouts and overstock that come from inventory scattered across multiple locations.

Inspected dispatch to prevent mis-shipments

At dispatch, we match the waybill against the product barcode 1:1 to prevent mis-shipments. When the wrong item goes out, it turns into return and re-delivery costs plus customer complaints, so inspection at the dispatch stage directly cuts cost.

After the parcel comes the return — from the same base

Returns from Korean consumers are collected at a domestic address, too. When parcel dispatch and a Korean returns address are handled from the same base, a return flows straight back into inventory for the next order. When you need bulk or retail deliveries, there's truck delivery (B2B), and the whole flow is laid out in our Korea entry fulfillment hub.

Frequently asked questions

QWhich parcel carriers do you use?

We dispatch via Korea's domestic carriers (CJ Logistics, Hanjin, Lotte, and others). Carrier and rates are agreed based on your volume and terms.

QCan you integrate with sales channels?

We collect orders from multiple channels — SmartStore, Coupang, your own storefront, and more — and dispatch them all from a single inventory pool. We'll walk you through the channel and system integration options during consultation.

QCan you do same-day or next-day dispatch?

We dispatch against a cutoff time. The exact cutoff and dispatch lead time depend on your volume and channel terms, which we'll confirm with you.

QDo you also handle returns?

Yes. We receive, inspect, and restock returns at an independent Korean returns address that isn't tied to any single platform.
